On the beautiful Ovens River and sitting in the valley below Mount Buffalo, the town of Bright is one of Victoria's most beautiful tourist attractions. Each year, in autumn, the deciduous trees along the main street put on a spectacular display of colour. This legacy, of the original pioneers who planted the avenues of elms, chestnuts, poplars and scarlet oaks has been continued by local resident gardens that further contribute to this autumn splendour.
